A: To ensure you have the best experience and that our equipment is handled properly, all Sun Kissed Aquatics paddle board rentals are for pickup or drop-off. Delivery available depending on location and is subject to delivery fees.
A: Absolutely! If you'd like to extend your paddleboarding adventure, you can typically keep your rental overnight. We'll simply charge you for the extended time, calculated based on our daily and half-day rates. For example, if you rent for two full days and a half-day, you only pay for that duration. We'll provide all the necessary gear to keep your board secure.
A: A “full day” with Sun Kissed Aquatics means you can enjoy your paddleboard for a total of 8 hours.
A: A “Half Day” rental offers up to 4 hours of exhilarating paddleboarding with Sun Kissed Aquatics.
A: Absolutely, but we do need to ask that only smaller pets (under 60 lbs.) join you. You will need to provide a personal flotation device for your pet.
A: Our dock closes one hour before sunset for all water rentals. This time adjusts seasonally to align with daylight hours. During summer, when sunset is typically around 9 PM, you can expect the dock to close around 8 PM. In winter and spring, with sunsets closer to 6 PM, the dock will close around 5 PM.
A: We understand that Florida weather can be unpredictable! If the weather takes an unexpected turn, rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds are always available options for your Sun Kissed Aquatics rental. Your safety and enjoyment is our top priority. If for some reason lightning is seen during your adventure you must return equipment immediately for you safety and a refund will be issued for the remaining time left. With weather permitting, we may resume your adventure within allotted time.
A: To make the most of your Sun Kissed Aquatics adventure, we recommend wearing swimwear under a cover-up, a UV-protective shirt, or a t-shirt, along with sunscreen—something you're comfortable getting wet in! If you forgot anything, our retail shop offers plenty of swimwear and accessories for sale. Here are a few other essentials:

A: You're in for a treat! The West Coast's coastal waters offer a wealth of exploration. You can paddle to several fun islands perfect for a lunch stop, explore the scenic waterways of central Florida. Paddling around the area surrounding our docks offer beautiful scenic views and sightings of dolphins and manatees.
Your rental duration, wind conditions, and direction will influence your route, but our team will always guide you to the safest and most enjoyable areas for your adventure.
A: We suggest if you're going to bring your phone, that you purchase a waterproof bag to keep it safe and dry.
A: For safety and optimal performance, our paddleboards are normally designed for one person only. We have various board sizes and will assign you the correct board to ensure you can maneuver it safely and effectively on your own. If you're looking for a shared experience, we can accommodate for two person and one child (or pet) under 60 lbs.
A: Safety is paramount at Sun Kissed Aquatics, especially with our younger adventurers.
Children between 6 and 14 years of age cannot share a paddleboard without an adult.
Typically, children 15 years and older can safely maneuver our vessels independently, though this can vary.
All children must always wear their PFDs (personal flotation devices) for the entire duration they are on the water. We provide PFDs for children 50 lbs and up.
A: We always recommend leaving valuable items like phones, keys, and wallets safely locked in your vehicle or on your person in a waterproof bag. If you have a waterproof bag and wish to bring your belongings on the water, you are welcome to do so. Sunkissed Aquatics does offer waterproof bags available for purchase.
A: We would love for you to stay out and enjoy yourselves! If you decide to extend your rental while out paddling, simply continue your adventure. When you return, we will charge you the difference. Please note that extensions are subject to availability and cannot go past sunset or overlap with other reservations. We'll always inform you if an extension isn't possible before we launch anyone.
A: It is recommended that you have your watch in a waterproof bag so that you are aware of the time. You are expected to return on time, if not, you will be charged accordingly.
A: You won't need to transport the equipment yourselves! We launch all paddleboards from our location. We operate on the west coastal waterways of Central Florida, where the waters are typically calmer and offer access to many exciting islands we can direct you to (weather permitting).
A: While Sun Kissed Aquatics does not offer dedicated parking, there are ample pay-to-park options conveniently located around our location.
A: Don’t worry at all! We offer safety and guidance before your adventure begins. All the staff here are trained and will provide you with safety measures before leaving for your adventure. We will take as much time as you need to make sure you feel comfortable. Learning to paddleboard is just like learning to ride a bike. It seems scary at first, and you soon realize how easy it really is. The hardest part is building up muscles that are typically rarely used. You will be a confident paddler in no time, ready to enjoy the beauty of the West Coast's coastal waters!
